Double quantum crossbars (QCB) is a superlattice formed by two crossed interacting arrays of metallic nanotubes or quantum wires. The system possesses the Luttinger liquid (LL) fixed point, and a rich Bose-type excitation spectrum (plasmon modes). QCB plasmons may be involved in resonance diffraction of incident electromagnetic waves and in optical absorption in the infrared (IR) part of the spectrum. The absorption of external electric field in QCB strongly depends on the direction of the wave vector of an incident wave. As a result two types of 1D2D dimensional crossover with varying angle of an incident wave or its frequency can be observed.
